Edgefest '08

It's August already. What happened to June and July? Seriously - it's like the days all ran together in a blur and now here we are, two months later. You know why? When you're younger, you have those three months off for summer vacation. They days just kinda seemed longer. But now.. now I work. I don't have those days off, so summer/winter.. they're just kinda the same. With different temperatures.

So let me pose a question to you: How does one get away clean with stealing $2100 worth of iPods? And (from what I hear), laptops a day earlier? Being locked in a cage, no less. That's exactly what happened at work a few days ago. Some people were speculating it was an inside job, but I'm having a hard time believing anyone in that department would be involved. I mean, these are people I'd like to think I know fairly well. I guess one can never be too sure, though.

So another year of Edgefest has come and gone. Cinder Road was amazing, once again. They always are, and I was happy to hear two new (for me) songs live. I was also happy to hear a live album, DVD and a new album are in the works! Anyway, pictures can be found on my Myspace, and video of "Rebel Yell" can be found here. I also really like another Edgefest band, Egypt Central. I know they've been around for awhile, but I'm just now getting into them. I'm really liking their songs, "Taking You Down," and "Over and Under."

That's all I've got. Gonna try to get some content done for the site today, depending what else is going on. Until next time..
